Panther Productions - a new Los Angeles theater company dedicated to bridging cultural divides by combining live theater with neighborhood dialogue. Currently, we are underway with our first official projects, which includes a bold, challenging look at Shakespeare's Othello set in Japan. We have a unique team of award-winning professionals staffing our production: Internationally-known artists, Ayana Cahrr and Victoria Belocq have signed on as director and set designer, respectively, while Ameenah Kaplan and Bilal Alamin have enthusiastically come aboard to shape the music and fight choreography. Panther Productions is also looking forward to the L.A. premiere of LAX, a multi-generational work about interpersonal relationships seen through the arrivals and departures of one of the world's busiest airports. | |||||||||||
